High moisture retention capacity enables the roots of the plant to grip natural organic mattress of coir fiber. By watering or misting the coir pole regularly, the aerial roots are able to collect water and nutrients.

Traditional supporting poles provide no water or nutrients to the aerial roots, whereas aerial roots of plants on coir pole can take water, nutrients and promotes vigorous growth of plants.
